Since I am so adamantly against this game and yet frequently returning to its subculture, I thought I ought to address it. First, to be sure I wasn’t completely blabbering nonsense, I did some research on the Touhou Project at wikia (UPDATE: use this source instead: the Touhou wiki). This post is divided into two large sections:
A recent article on Arstechnica got me thinking about alternative energy. Pardon the pun in the title: “joules” are units of energy, not jewels (though jewels have alot of joules). In as much as some of us may think the world will end before we run out of fuel, there is a chance that it won’t, and we’ll be forced to utilize other sources of energy (unless, of course, you don’t mind giving up your air-conditioning, amongst all those other benefits that come with power and a functioning economy).
Today, I started reading this article on the Philosopher’s Eye. It’s an atheist blog, or at least the writer of this article is. They are discussing a book by Alex Rosenberg entitled “The Atheist’s Guide to Reality”. Should you read the book? Only if you want some laughs, I guess. Why is it when someone has an opposing point of view they always attack straw men? I see this from the theists and get tired of it, and yet the atheists do it too. Must be the natural human thing. In this blog post, I’m going to respond to the article bit-by-bit, addressing the arguments within their own context. This may take awhile, so fasten your seat-belts.
